If you’ve ever wondered what your zodiac sign might smell like, Juli Everett has the answer.

The founder of Knead and Seed has collaborated with local candlemaker Brittany Torres of Hamptons Handpoured to create a series of customized zodiac candles that celebrate each sign — from grapefruit, ginger Leo and juniper, cedarwood Pisces to cardamom, basil Scorpio and honey, rose Taurus.

“Each candle has two scents, and after six months of research in medical astrology texts, [Everett] settled on two herbs that are beneficial to each sign,” a press release said. “You may be a Libra but have a strong pull to the Leo candle, only to discover you have a lot of planets in Leo in your chart.”

Using soy- and plant-based fragrance oils, the candles are all hand poured into heavy-weighted Libbey glassware. The cotton wicks are lead and nickel free, with an approximate 40-hour burn time.

“I started business in 2015 after some health issues and started using homemade candles as a way to relax and create a peaceful space in my home,” Torres said. “Along with the beauty of the East End and the inspiration I have taken from growing up here, Hamptons Handpoured was born.”

Originally from Southampton, the Springs residents aims to support local business whenever possible, which led to her partnership with Knead and Seed, she said.

“Over the less than a year of working with Juli, we have become very close and that is all because of her caring and sincere disposition, and the drive she has to build others up,” Torres said. “I think she has really got something here with Knead and Seed, especially in the Hamptons where this seems to be so much competition with everything. Her studio is where you can gain solitude and clarity, as well as find a safe space to build friendships with other women at gatherings like Goddess Circle.”
