Warmth. Style. Ingenuity. Bravery.

On Thursday, November 15, more than 130 guests spent an afternoon at Tom Colicchio’s Riverpark NYC, listening to a conversation between panelists Zoë Buckman, Jayma Cardoso, and Marcela Sapone, moderated by Guild Hall Executive Director Andrea Grover.

The illustrated presentation provided insights into artist Buckman’s bold sculptures, installations and public art projects, Cardoso’s rise to the top of the nightclub and hospitality business, and Sapone’s weaving of personalized home care with technology.

“What the panelists all shared was a commitment to creating meaningful and revelatory experiences,” according to a press release, “emphasizing that empathy and human connection are essential to thriving in today’s complex world.”

As the first snowfall of the season started to dust the East River, the buzz in Riverpark was one of warmth, ingenuity and generosity as guests sipped champagne, mingled and perused items from the Visionaries Pop-Up Shop, organized by Kathleen Mulcahy.

Among the guests were Rocco Ancarola, Michele Cohen, Cristina Cuomo, Eileen Ekstract, Selma Fonseca, LaVon Kellner, Ellen Marcus, Joyce Menschel, Dria Murphy, Toni Ross, Galia Meiri-Stawski and Guild Hall trustees Susan Jacobson, Cheryl Minikes, Susan Mark, Ellen Myers, Alice Netter, Pam Pantzer, James Peterson, Jane Shallat and Sheri Sandler.
