The Town of East Hampton announced last week it will be issuing a Request for Applications for interested persons to award grant funding for water quality improvement projects. The total grant funding available for the first round of awards is up to $1.25 million, according to a press release.
The Water Quality Technical Advisory Committee has established this bi-annual process to allow for applicants outside of the Town of East Hampton government wishing to obtain grant funding for a water quality improvement project to be considered. Applications were accepted starting June 14 and will continue to be accepted through August 15 at 4 p.m. The RFA can be found on the Town website on the Natural Resources Department, Clean Water East Hampton page, ehamptonny.gov/640/Clean-Water-East-Hampton-Program.
