For licensed real estate salesperson Emily King, choosing Town & Country was an easy decision.
“Privately owned and run by three powerful, entrepreneurial women, I like the more intimate, personal feel of a locally owned boutique real estate agency,” she said.
Now a fixture at the Southampton office, King came to real estate with design experience in East End luxury building and a keen eye for detail and staging, helping sell the Hamptons lifestyle to clients.
“She coordinated project managers, contractors and builders to bring a house from design to finished dream home,” according to a press release.
King and her husband have grown several businesses as they raised a family on the East End, all the while falling in love with the “wide-open aesthetic of the landscape, beaches, farmlands and beautiful homes all bathed in the most alluring light,” she said. “A combination you can’t find anywhere else in the world.”
In 2003, King launched a personal fitness training business with A-list clients and socialites from the worlds of fashion, film and business.
“Skilled at understanding her clients’ need for exclusivity, competence and efficiency, she was in demand from Southampton and Water Mill to Bridgehampton and Sagaponack, and helped her clients reach their goals with enthusiasm,” the release said. “That discretion and competence serves her well in real estate, where clients expect excellent customer service and results.”
Since 1991, King has called Water Mill home, which she opens to her friends and family during the summer months.
“I love the beach and long walks, entertaining, hiking, traveling, the theater, and wellness of body, soul and spirit I find here on the East End,” she said. “Sharing that with friends and clients is so gratifying to me.”
