Award-winning author and activist Donna Kaz is a multi-genre writer and activist based in New York City. From January 9 to 12, she will host a creative nonfiction writers conference at the Southampton Inn. For the past 20 years, Kaz has led Guerrilla Girls on Tour around the world with performances which address social issues and prove feminists are funny at the same time. Her 2016 memoir, “UN/MASKED, Memoirs of a Guerrilla Girl On Tour,” was named best nonfiction prose of 2017 by the Devil’s Kitchen Literary Festival. Her new eBook, published in 2019, is “PUSH/PUSHBACK 9 Steps to make a Difference with Activism and Art (because the world’s gone bananas).”
The next conference led by Donna Kaz will be a comedy writing intensive for women running March 19 to 22. For more information visit donnakaz.com.
