The Sag Harbor Youth Resource Center’s teen beach night program at Long Beach will conclude next week in splashy and sweet style.

On Monday, August 13, the program will feature a 20-foot inflatable water slide for the teens to enjoy, starting at 7:30 p.m., plus a carnival-style dunk tank for them to take turns in.

“It’s an extravaganza,” program director Patti Byrnes said this week. “The kids love the water slides and kept asking for them again and again. And they’re all fighting over who’s first already in the dunk tank. They all want to do it.”

The final night of the program, Wednesday, August 15, will be a campfire-style s’mores night.

This summer marked the 20th anniversary of the Youth Resource Center’s teen beach night program at Long Beach. The program is free and open to all teens in grades six through 10, including those who are here only during summers. Registration and a waiver form are required for those who attend.
