Bay Street Theater’s “Story Time,” a series of children’s books read aloud on Zoom by the authors themselves, continues with Dan Sadlowski reading “Finding Brooklyn — And The Next Great Superhero,” at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 10.

“Finding Brooklyn—And The Next Great Superhero,” which is about an original female superhero, is the author’s first book and beloved by fans around the world. This resilient story encourages readers to feel empowered, be different and believe they have superpowers within. The author’s newest book, “The Universe Is Rooting for You,” reminds us to appreciate the natural world, connect with nature and give back.

Offered Saturday at 10:30 a.m., upcoming authors in the “Story Time” series include Hyewon Yum reading “Grandpa Across The Ocean” on April 17; Susan Verde reading “I Am Yoga” on April 24; Linsey Davis reading “Stay This Way Forever” on May 1; Scott Rothman reading “Attack of the Underwear Dragon” on May 8; and Julie Andrews and her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton, reading “Simeon’s Gift” on May 15.

Parents are encouraged to purchase books in advance so children can read along. The series is for kids ages 3 to 8 and authors will be available for a Q&A session with participants. Tickets are $15 at baystreet.org or 631-725-9500.
