The next offering in Bay Street Theater’s “Story Time,” a new series of eight children’s books read aloud on Zoom by the authors themselves, will feature Linsey Davis reading “Stay This Way Forever,” at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 1.

Davis has been a correspondent for ABC News since 2007, where she files reports for World News, Good Morning America, 20/20, and Nightline. She has received several honors for her reporting, including two Emmy Awards and a regional Edward R. Murrow Award. In addition, the Center for Leadership Development awarded her with the distinction of “Up and Comer.” Linsey earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Virginia and a master of arts degree in Communications from New York University. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. Her best-selling titles include The World is Awake and One Big Heart.

Offered every Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m., other authors in the “Story Time” series include Scott Rothman reading “Attack of the Underwear Dragon” on May 8; and finally, Julie Andrews and her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton, reading “Simeon’s Gift” on May 15.

Parents are encouraged to purchase the books in advance so their child can read along with the authors. The series is designed for kids ages 3 to 8 and following each reading, authors will be available for a question-and-answer session with participants. Tickets for “Story Time” are $15 at or by calling 631-725-9500.

Story Time is sponsored by BookHampton, Canio’s Books, Michael Hebron, RJ Julia Booksellers, and Sag Harbor Books.
