Actor, playwright, producer and Emmy nominated writer Eugene Pack, the mastermind behind the Celebrity Autobiography series for which he has won a Drama Desk Award, will continue his focus on celebrity life with “Sharpies,” which will be performed in a staged reading at Guild Hall, 158 Main Street in East Hampton, on Thursday, August 20 at 8 p.m.
The new comedy follows a group of iconic celebrities at an autograph-signing convention weekend in Milwaukee. This reading will include Vanessa Williams, Matthew Broderick, Carol Kane, Blythe Danner, Dayle Reyfel, Sawyer Spielberg, Christian Scheider and Sag Harbor’s own Chloe Dirksen. A portion of the proceeds from this reading will benefit The Felix Organization whose mission is to provide inspiring opportunities and new experiences to enrich the lives of children who are growing up in the foster care system.
Tickets to “Sharpies” are $28-$75. For more information, call 1 (866) 811-4111 or visit guildhall.org.
