Because three snow days were used for inclement weather in recent weeks while only two were in the calendar, the district will now hold classes on Monday, April 2, as a make-up day, school officials announced Monday.

If schools are closed for any further snow days this year, Tuesday, April 3, and Wednesday, April 4, are potential make-up days.

According to Ms. Graves, the proposed 2018-19 school calendar will have three snow days instead of the two that were built into this year’s calendar. The school board is expected to adopt the 2018-19 calendar at its next board meeting, planned for February 12.
