Sag Harbor School District announced Sunday that all schools will be closed on Monday “out of an abundance of caution” after a school district employee tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday.

Jeff Nichols, Sag Harbor’s superintendent, circulated an email on Sunday announcing that the district had contacted the Suffolk County Department of Health and is conducting contact tracing.

Remote instruction will be offered to all students, and principals will send out more information soon, he said.

An update is expected on Monday.
