To welcome students back to school, Sag Harbor Elementary School hosted a fun-filled barbecue for students and their families on September 18.
The annual PTA-sponsored event featured barbequed burgers and hot dogs, as well as treats, including apples and chips.
“This is a great way to kick-off back to school and welcome students and their families back,” said Principal Matthew Malone.
The barbecue culminated with a musical concert by the band, “Keep the Beat,” which performed a variety of folk songs from around the world.
Other important dates for parents and students:

Events will take place during the day with a special presentation at Pierson at 7 p.m. that evening.
