Sag HarborFest 2015, held Saturday and Sunday on Long Wharf, Main Street and in Marine Park, and sponsored by The Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce, featured whale boat races, kids events, the annual clam chowder contest, a street fair, and arts and crafts fair, among events like the corn shucking contest, Bay Burger’s annual lobster roll eating contest, local music, non-profit organizations, and food, abundant on Long Wharf.
Thanks to a public-private partnership a comprehensive testing program will establish a baseline for water quality across the village’s most important economic and recreational resource — its bayfront.
