Quogue Artists Open Studios To Public

So much can be learned from an artist’s workspace, but rarely are they open to the casual observer. After all, studio life is often a solitary one.

Next weekend, nine artists will break that rule, welcoming the public to their studios during the inaugural Quogue Artists Open Studio Tour, hosted by the Quogue Library Art Committee on Sunday, July 21, from 12 to 4 p.m.

“While the artwork is for sale, visitors are welcome to simply come and enjoy the experience of seeing art in the very varied spaces where it is created,” a press release said.

Participating artists include Steve Alpert, Ellen Ball, Maria Boulan, Margot Carr, Donna Levey, Lulie Morrissey, Laurel Susci, Susan Cushing and Alice Vleck. Tickets are $10 and maps may be purchased at the Quogue Library. For more information, call (631) 653-4224 or visit quoguelibrary.org.
