A 17-year-old pedestrian was injured Tuesday night in a hit-and-run crash in East Hampton, and town detectives are seeking the public’s help finding the driver who was responsible.
The male victim was walking northwest on Queens Lane near Stuarts Lane just before 6:30 p.m. when he was struck from behind by a vehicle that left the scene, according to East Hampton Town Police.
A Suffolk County Police helicopter airlifted the victim to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and released.
