The Ross/Pierson Track team finished their team season on Thursday May 13 at Wyandanch. The team has too few members to gain a win, but the individuals showed great success against Wyandanch. Five members of the team are keeping their fingers crossed to compete in the Division Championships next week. They will find out Thursday at a coaches “seeding” meeting. At Wyandanch, Oliver Lauro won the 400 intermediate hurdles in a time of 65.3 seconds. Stephen Early won the mile in 5:08.5. Christian Gonzalez won the 400 meter dash in 56.5 seconds and Freshman Marco Lanuto finished right behind him in second in a time of 57.9 seconds. Charles McIntosh won the 100 meter dash in a time of 11.7 seconds.
