Pianist John Kamitsuka Performs at The Church

On Saturday, November 6, at 7 p.m., The Church in Sag Harbor hosts a piano concert by John Kamitsuka, who will perform the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, including “Inventions” and “Sinfonia,” and Ludwig Von Beethoven’s “Sonata Op. 27 #2.”

Kamitsuka performs regularly throughout the United States, South America, Europe and Japan. He has played at prominent New York City venues such as Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, the 92nd Street Y and Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall. He has appeared at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in South Carolina; Queen Elizabeth Hall, St. John’s Smith Square and St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London; the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Germany; Cercle de l’Union Interaliée and Chateau de l’Hermitage in France; Teatro Ghione, the American Academy in Rome, Università Cattolica, Collegio Borromeo and Sala del Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Italy.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 at sagharborchurch.org. If available, tickets will also be available at the door. The Church is at 48 Madison Street in Sag Harbor.
