The Sag Harbor Express and its sponsors hosted the Third Annual Summer Kick-off and Spotlight on Boating Party and Trade Show at the Breakwater Yacht Club on Friday, June 21. Torrential rains gave way to beautiful sunny skies as more than 200 guests boarded some of the finest boats for sale and charter on the East End this summer. Fencing to close off most of Sag Harbor's Long Wharf to vehicles and pedestrians will be installed on Monday, September 23 and will remain in place until the $4.32-million project is completed next spring, according to Jenny Lund, the project manager for the engineering firm, P.W. Grosser.
Krupski Farms has always been helmed by multiple generations. Suffolk County Legislator Al Krupski, who still farms quite a bit, and his wife, Mary, whose children think of her as the brains behind the operation, and their three children are responsible for what makes it to the farm stand today.
