From sunrise to sunset, paddle-boarders are raising some money on Saturday, August 4 — first, out on the water, and then mingling at a soiree.
The seventh annual Hamptons Paddle & Party for Pink, to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, will begin at 8 a.m. with a paddleboard race, followed by a sunset party at 7 p.m., both at Havens Beach in Sag Harbor.
Last year’s sold-out event raised nearly $1.8 million, with more than 200 paddlers and 600 party guests in attendance. This year, donors have the option to become a Virtual Paddler, allowing those unable to attend to support the BCRF — the largest private funder of breast cancer research worldwide.
