Eric Firestone Gallery, located at 4 Newtown Lane in East Hampton, will host a panel discussion on Saturday, August 11, at 4 p.m. on the occasion of the exhibition “Montauk Highway II: Postwar Abstraction in the Hamptons.”

Moderated by Jennifer Samet — director of research at the gallery — the panel will feature American art historian, curator, and critic Barbara Rose, who has been described as “a force of nature with a penchant for the rarified fine arts;” documentary filmmaker Lana Jokel, who will show choice clips arranged for this occasion; and Gail Levin, professor of art history, American studies, and women studies at Baruch College and the Graduate Center of CUNY.
