New year, new… home?

That is the mantra for the current owners of 59 Glover Street, who listed their waterfront gem for just shy of $7.4 million on New Year’s Eve with Brown Harris Stevens.

“This classic Sag Harbor waterfront home is located on Glover Street, one of the most sought after streets in the historic village,” according to the listing. “The home is actually set back from the road and cannot be seen from the street thus creating a very private waterfront residence.”

Built in 2009, the traditional, 3,042-square-foot home offers three bedrooms, two and a half baths and room to expand. The living and dining rooms, and master bedroom feature western exposure and water views, and the half-acre property includes a Gunite pool, cabana/boathouse with an additional bath, and a new dock capable of accommodating a “good size” boat, the listing said.

“The sunsets over looking Upper Sag Cove are exquisite,” according to the listing. “Best of all, the historic whaling village of Sag Harbor complete with marinas, restaurants, beaches and the famous American Hotel are only a few blocks away.”
