More Music with the Masons

Dreaming In The Shadows performing at the Masonic Temple in Sag Harbor.

On Friday, November 12, at 8 p.m., the Sag Harbor Masonic Music Series welcomes newcomers Dreaming In The Shadows, a band that includes Wayne Jacobs on vocals and guitar, Hudson Turlow on vocals and bass, and Jason Rivera on drums. This newly formed band plays late ’60s psychedelic, rock, new wave and more.

Also performing in the inner sanctum of the Masonic Temple on Saturday, November 13, at 8 p.m. will be the local band Out East, which will bring their unique blend of acoustic and electric music to the space. The band includes John Jinks on guitar, vocals and electric sitar, Gerry Giliberti on drums, percussion and vocals, and Carlos Barrios on bass and tanpura. Consisting of mostly original compositions with a few choice cover tunes, the sound has an undeniably exciting undercurrent energy focused upon rock hooks to honky tonk to Latin to jazz.

The Masonic Music Series is a singer/songwriter series featuring the best of the East End’s musical performers in an intimate setting. The $20 admission supports gifts to local charities. The music series is produced by the Freemason Brothers of Wamponamon Lodge. The Masonic Temple is located at 200 Main Street in Sag Harbor, above The Sag Harbor Whaling Museum, with plenty of parking in the rear of the building. For more information and tickets visit
