Mary Parker, passed away at her home in Southampton on September 5, 2015 after a long illness. She was 93 years old.
Mrs. Parker was born in Southampton. Her parents were Peter and Maryanna Zubrzycki. She is also predeceased by her husband, Charles Parker, who she met during World War II when he was stationed in Montauk at the naval base. They lived in Southampton their whole married life.
Mrs. Parker is survived by four daughters, Judy Musnicki of Bridgehampton; Linda Liehr and her husband Joe of Southampton; Patty Foster and her husband Ron of Sag Harbor; and Carol Grugel and Chuck Lehman of Murrells Inlet, SC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her brothers, Peter, Anthony, Leo and Joseph. Her sister , Ann McGee of West Palm Beach, Fla. and her sister-in-law, Betty Meyer of Newark, Ohio survive her.
Mrs. Parker spent most of her days reading recipes, watering her gardens and feeding and watching the birds. She was always ready to make her grandchildren’s favorite cookie recipes. But her greatest joy was having her entire family gathered together for family celebrations and holidays.
