Jessie Leavitt and Jason Brown were married Sunday, June 30, at The Parrish Museum in Water. Mill. The bride’s brother, Rabbi Noah Leavitt, officiated.
Ms. Leavitt is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology and is the East Coast visual merchandiser for a luxury brand in New York City. Mr. Brown graduated from University of Pennsylvania and is an investment analyst at a hedge fund in New York City.
The bride is the daughter of Susan Katz Leavitt and Alan Leavitt. Her father, Alan, is the founder of Lane Capital Partners, a distressed real estate fund. He is also the President of Temple Adas Israel in Sag Harbor. Ms. Leavitt’s grandmother, Nettie Rosenstein, opened the Fil-Nette Shop of Main Street in Sag Harbor in 1930. Her grandmother, Gertrude Katz, called the store The Trude Shoppe in the same location. Her late grandfather, Donald Katz, led an accounting firm on Main Street, Sag Harbor for 25 years and was also a president fo Temple Adas Israel.
Mr. Brown is the son of Nicole and Hartley Brown. His father, Hartley, is an antique dealer based in New York City.
The couple plans to live in New York City.
