Following up on tours over the past few years of Shelter Island’s Sylvester Manor, Riverhead’s Main Street, Sag Harbor, the North Fork, and Amagansett, the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons is sponsoring a “Celebrate Bridgehampton’s 360th Birthday Tour” on Thursday, June 9.

The day starts at 11 a.m. with a tour of the Children’s Museum of the East End at 376 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike; followed by an 11:30 a.m. visit of the South Fork Natural History Museum & Nature Center across the street.

At 12:15 p.m. tour-goers will proceed to Bridgehampton’s Main Street, where they will receive a brief tour of the Dan Flavin Art Institute on Corwith Avenue at 12:30 p.m. That will be followed by a catered lunch at the office of the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons in the Community House on School Street, followed by a talk about the work of the alliance and the Bridgehampton Citizens Advisory Committee.

Crossing Main Street to the Bridgehampton Museum, at 2:15 p.m., attendees will hear a 15-minute talk on Bridgehampton history by league member and Bridgehampton author Ann Sandford and tour the Corwith House.

The last stop of the day is at 3 p.m. for a quick tour of the Good Shepherd Farm, a co-op garden located behind Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
