The historic relationship between the mob and Jewish Americans is complicated, to say the least, and Myron Sugarman knows all about it.
The author of “The Last Jewish Gangster from Meyer to Myron” will give a talk on Thursday, July 12, at 7 p.m. at Temple Adas Israel, located at 30 Atlantic Avenue in Sag Harbor, tracing the mafia from its origins to present day. He will tell his own mob story from a Jewish standpoint, reliving firsthand experiences and familial connections to some of the most infamous Jewish mobsters.
Following the lecture, books will be available for signing and purchase. Admission is free. For more information, call (631) 725-0904 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
