Lace Up For Katy’s Courage Skate-A-Thon

Katy’s Courage, the non-profit created in memory of Kathryn Collins Stewart, will host its seventh annual Skate-A-Thon at Buckskill Winter Club, 178 Buckskill Road in East Hampton, on Sunday, March 4, beginning at 4:45 p.m. with the puck throw. Figure skating recitals by coaches and participating kids will also grace the ice before the skate-a-thon officially begins at 6 p.m. Ice hockey and raffles are also planned, all which will benefit Katy’s Courage, an organization dedicated to supporting education, children’s bereavement counseling and pediatric cancer research in honor of Ms. Stewart, who died at the age of 12 from a rare form of pediatric cancer.
