It’s been three years since Joan Armatrading packed up for an international tour.

With the release of her 21st album, “Not Too Far Away,” the time has come, and her first stop is none other than the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center — on Sunday, May 27, at 8 p.m. — kicking off a cross-country tour of the United States.

A three-time Grammy nominee and winner of the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contemporary Song Collection and the BASCA Gold Badge Award, Armatrading has received accolade after accolade — from the British Folk Festival Award and Radio 2’s Folk Award for Lifetime Achievement, to MMF’s Artist’s Artist Award and even an MBE from the Queen, picking up the keys to Sydney along the way.

Tickets range from $81 to $111. For more information, call (631) 288-1500 or visit
