The glasswork of Romany Kramoris can be seen across the East End — at Temple Adas Israel in Sag Harbor, the Incarnation Lutheran Church in Water Mill, and Mary Mount Manhattan Chapel, to name just a few.
In 1992, she received an international award from The Corning Museum for excellence in contemporary use and design in stained glass.
And she is only about to get better.
Kramoris, who has operated her glass studio in Sag Harbor for 43 years, was recently awarded a scholarship from Urban Glass, one of the premiere glass artist facilities in the country, where she will study advanced painted and stained glass assemblage in Brooklyn.
Romany Kramoris Gallery is located at 41 Main Street in Sag Harbor. For more information, please call (631) 725-2499 or visit kramorisgallery.com.
