Isaac Mizrahi may look out of place on the Bay Street stage — singing his heart out — to those who know him as a judge on “Project Runway: All-Stars.”
But, unbeknownst to them, the fashion designer also doubles as an actor, writer, host and producer for more than three decades, and will perform on Monday, August 6, at 8 p.m. at the Sag Harbor theater, located at 1 Bay Street, as part of the Music Mondays summer concert series.
“Moderate to Severe” will feature classics by Charles Aznavour, Blondie and Cole Porter, joined by his band of “(handsome, thin, single) (maybe not single) jazz musicians, led by Ben Waltzer,” according to a press release.
“Mizrahi will tell (mostly true) irreverent stories and will re-gift items he’s picked up from overzealous fans, business associates and gala dinner swag bags,” the release said.
The remaining lineup for Music Mondays includes Charles Busch on August 13; Bobby Conte Thornton on August 20; and Mandy Gonzales on August 27. Tickets range from $69 to $125. For more information, call 631-725-9500 or visit baystreet.org.
