The driver of one car involved in a two-vehicle crash on Long Beach Road in Bay Point Monday at about 5:30 p.m. was being medevaced to Stony Brook Hospital with unknown injuries.

The injured driver, a Sag Harbor resident, was trying to turn left into the Long Beach parking lot when she was rear-ended by another driver.

A Suffolk County medevac helicopter was dispatched to Havens Beach in Sag Harbor Village to pick up the injured woman. Both lanes were reported open by 6 p.m.
