Touch, smell, taste, hear, see. The White Room Gallery is about to engage all the senses.
In partnership with the all-female arts collective I AM, the Bridgehampton gallery will present three live art experiences in a summer series starting Saturday, June 16, with “FLASHBACK,” inspired by the convictions of pop art.
Set to the backdrop of work by Joss Press, David Morico, Seek One and Strosberg Mandel, performers will dive into themes of freedom, fame and a pop retro past through contemporary dance and live painting using body movement, creating three different atmospheres — each paired with wine and cheese to enhance the mood.
The second performance on July 21, “WATER MUSINGS,” will be an ode to the artists’ fascination with the fluidity and power of water, and for the final event, “SAVAGE | BEAUTY” — an immersive dining experience — the gallery simply says, “Expect the unexpected.”
Start time at the gallery, located at 2415 Main Street, is 6 p.m. for the first two performances, and 7:30 p.m. for the third. Advance tickets start at $75, or $90 at the door, and $120 for the four-course dinner. Space is limited for each performance. Tickets can be reserved by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or visiting paypal.me/thewhiteroomgallery.
