HBTS Returns The Nutcracker at Guild Hall

The Hampton Ballet Theatre School (HBTS) present its 11th annual production of Tchaikovsky’s beloved Nutcracker on Friday, December 6 at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 7 at 1 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 8 at 2 p.m. at Guild Hall’s John Drew Theater, 158 Main Street, East Hampton.

The ballet is choreographed by the director of HBTS, Sara Jo Strickland and includes costumes designed and hand sewn by Yuka Silvera and lighting design by Sebastian Paczynski. Corrina Castillo and Ana Kastrati will share the role of the Arabian Princess partnered by guest artists Nick Peregrino and Hector Cerna, respectively. Sharing the role of Dew Drop Princess will be Sedona Silvera and Marrina Jacka partnered by guest artist Josep Maria Monreal and Nick Peregrino. Snow Queen will be danced by Samantha Grabb and Holiday Bovio partnered by guest artists Josep Maria Monreal and Hector Cerna. All female dancers are Pro Student Level 7 at HBTS. Sharing the role of Sugar Plum Fairy will be seniors Devon Friedman and Samantha Prince, partnered by guest artists James Stevko and Nick Peregrino as Cavalier.

Come watch HBTS students transport the audience to a land where angels, snowflakes and flowers dance and Clara saves the Nutcracker Prince from the evil Mouse King. The Nutcracker will produce holiday cheer for all, as everyone celebrates in the Land of Sweets.
