For Gene Casey and The Lone Sharks, the only way to ring in the big 3-0 is with a dance party — rock and roll style.

Join the longtime band for a birthday concert on Saturday, September 29, at 8 p.m. at Bay Street Theater, located at 1 Bay Street in Sag Harbor, celebrating three decades of rhythm and twang.

In 1988, Gene Casey moved to the East End and formed The Lone Sharks. By the late 1990s, they were a mainstay among the Hamptons music scene — and have stayed that way ever since. The “main men” joining Casey are drummer Chris Ripley, saxophonist Paul Scher and upright bassist Tony Palumbo.

Advance tickets are $25 or $35 at the door. For more information, call (631) 725-9500 or visit baystreet.org.
