Jack Lenor Larsen — founder of LongHouse, whose contributions to horticulture, art and creativity on the East End are endless — is not a difficult man to honor. And the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons plans to do just that.

On Friday, March 18, the 32nd annual Garden Fair Preview Party will celebrate Larsen from 6 to 8 p.m., while giving guests their first choice of rare and unusual plants for sale as they sip rosé and mingle. The sale will continue on Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All festivities will be held at the Bridgehampton Community House, located at 2368 Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton. Tickets to the preview party are $60 and admission to the sale is free. Proceeds will support the Alliance’s educational programs and lectures held throughout the year, as well as its extensive horticultural library, all of which are open to the public.
