If you’re not in the mood to cook the full Thanksgiving dinner this year (or are limiting the number of relatives that you’ll be gathering with), here are some options for having an alternative Turkey Day feast where you can eat in or get dinner to go while also supporting local businesses.
The American Hotel (49 Main Street, Sag Harbor. 631-725-3535, theamericanhotel.com) is featuring a special four-course Thanksgiving Day menu that includes all the traditional holiday offerings, as well as several house specialties including sea scallops, Scottish salmon and fresh Long Island duck. The prix fixe menu is $100 for adults and $45 for children.
Cromer’s Market (3500 Noyac Road, Sag Harbor. 631-725-9004, cromersmarket.com) offers individual Thanksgiving dinners to go with all the fixings for $19.95. Add a slice of apple or pumpkin pie for $2.50. The market also sells fresh turkeys for $2.99 per pound, or roasted turkeys of any size for $5.99 per pound with gravy included. Also available are side dishes, stuffing and a selection of pies.
Lulu Kitchen and Bar (126 Main Street, Sag Harbor. 631-725-0900, lulusagharbor.com) will be offering a family style dinner on Thanksgiving from noon to 8 p.m. A traditional turkey dinner with sides is $42. The regular a la carte menu will also be available. Thanksgiving to go is also available and comes with extras including a fresh baked baguette, house salad and an apple croissant crisp. The cost is $140 for two people and $280 for four.
Page at 63 Main (63 Main Street, Sag Harbor. 631-725-1810, page63main.com) will be serving on Thanksgiving Day from 1 to 6 p.m. A three-course fixed turkey dinner is $48 for adults ($24 children). Also available is a full a la carte menu.
Harbor Market and Kitchen (184 Division Street, Sag Harbor. 631-725-4433, harbormarket.com) offers a takeout Thanksgiving menu with all the fixings. Also available are starters including squash soup and a charcuterie and cheese board, and for dessert, pies or cookies. Place orders in advance for pickup on Thanksgiving by noon.
Schiavoni’s Market (48 Main Street, Sag Harbor. 631-725-0366, schiavonismarket.com offers family dinners for 8 to 10 people for $299.95 as well as individual dinners for $34.95, including all the traditional fixings. Fresh all-natural and organic turkey are available. The market will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Citarella Fine Foods (20 Hampton Road, Southampton. 631-283-6600, citarella.com) will be serving a meal for four ($159) that includes a turkey breast or for eight ($319) that includes the full turkey. Both meals come with a range of sides. For an additional charge, the turkey can be cooked for you. Also available are a la carte options. See the website for details.
Claude’s Restaurant at the Southampton Inn (91 Hill Street, Southampton. 631-283-6500, southamptoninn.com/restaurant/) will be serving breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. as well as the usual a la carte brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Find turkey and trimmings as well as locally baked pies on the menu. Seasons of Southampton (15 Prospect Street, Southampton. 631-283-3354, seasonsofsouthampton.com) will be serving its annual Thanksgiving dinner as a three-course meal including seasonal and traditional fares, seafood and the sinful dessert cart. The cost is $39.95 per person, or $19.95 for children 5 to 11. Under 5 is free. Reservations suggested. A takeout option is also available for $44.95 per person. Delivery is available for an additional fee.
Shippy’s Pumpernickels (36 Windmill Lane, Southampton. 631-283-0007, shippyspumpernickels.com) will be serving Thanksgiving dinner all month. The complete traditional turkey dinner is $24.95. The restaurant will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Southampton Publick House (62 Jobs Lane, Southampton. 631-283-2800, publick.com) is offering a three-course prix fixe dinner from 1 to 7 p.m. for $35 per person. For children 10 and under, a two-course turkey dinner and dessert menu is $16. Reservations strongly suggested.
TBar Southampton (268 Elm Street, Southampton. 631-283-0202, tbar2gosouthampton.com) will be serving family-style Thanksgiving dinner to go. Three courses serve 8 to 10 guests for $550. All orders must be placed by November 21. Pickups will be Wednesday, November 25, starting at noon or Thursday, November 26, starting at 11 a.m.
Canal Cafe (44 Newtown Road, Hampton Bays. 631-723-2155, thecanalcafe.com) is offering a Thanksgiving pickup menu. Place orders by Sunday, November 22. The Inn Spot On The Bay (32 Lighthouse Road, Hampton Bays (631-728-1200, theinnspot.com) is offering a Thanksgiving pickup menu. Whole turkeys and trays of sides, sauces and other items. Whole turkey orders need to be placed by Monday, November 23, to guarantee availability.
Bistro Ete (760 Montauk Highway, Water Mill. 631-500-9085, bistroete.com) is offering a Thanksgiving pickup menu. A complete Thanksgiving dinner for two is $90. Also available at a la carte prices are other entrées. Place orders by Saturday, November 21. Thanksgiving takeout will be available from 1 to 5 p.m. Curbside pick-up and local delivery available.
Calissa (1020 Montauk Highway, Water Mill. 631-500-9292, calissahamptons.com) will offer a takeout Thanksgiving menu for $75 per person. Ordering 48 hours in advance is recommended, and orders can be made by visiting the Calissa website.
Art of Eating (264 Butter Lane, Bridgehampton. 631-267-2411, hamptonsartofeating.com) is offering a Thanksgiving catering to go menu. Orders must be placed by November 19 and picked up no later than 11:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The menu is available for Thanksgiving week and weekend only.
Old Stove Pub (3516 Montauk Highway, Sagaponack. 631-537-3300, oldstovepub.com) is offering a Thanksgiving menu for $39.95 per person. Reservations are being taken from 1 to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. For those who prefer to enjoy dinner at home, family style meals are available for takeout.
The 1770 House Restaurant & Inn (143 Main Street, East Hampton. 631-324-1770, 1770house.com) will serve Thanksgiving in the main dining room and downstairs at the Tavern for $125. A special Thanksgiving dinner to go package is $500 and serves up to 10 and must be ordered by Friday, November 20, for pickup either Tuesday, November 24, or Wednesday, November 25, from noon to 3 p.m.
Nick & Toni’s (136 Main Street, East Hampton. 631-324-3550, nickandtonis.com) is offering a Thanksgiving at home menu. All orders must be placed by Friday, November 20, at 3 p.m. and pickup will take place on Wednesday, November 25, between 2 and 5 p.m. The menu, subject to change, includes a selection of dishes that feed four. The restaurant will be closed on Thanksgiving.
