Bell & Anchor is what foodies would call “New American Seafood-Centric,” set against a backdrop of maritime Sag Harbor.
“At Bell & Anchor, you’ll experience food and wine with deep flavors and textures,” according to the eatery website. “The restaurant pulls its inspiration from the rich and deep history Sag Harbor, Noyac, Peconic, and the region offer: local seafood, steak, beer, vegetables, and wine.”
The restaurant’s new fall specials reflect just that.
On Sundays, enjoy $1 Montauk Pearl Oysters with a slightly salty finish from 5:30 p.m. to close, followed by Lobster Night on Wednesdays, including an appetizer and choice of lobster-centric entrée: “Old School” Lobster Garganelli with corn, basil and saffron cream; a steamed 1½-pound lobster with haricots verts and fingerling potatoes; or butter poached lobster tail with a 7-ounce grilled filet mignon, haricots verts and fingerling potatoes.
Bouillabaisse Night is the starring special on Thursdays, with a choice of appetizer and bouillabaisse entrée for $35, and a $30 prix fixe menu is available Tuesdays through Sundays until 6:30 p.m., excluding holidays and holiday weekends.
“This is the way food should taste, and the way food is meant to be shared,” according to the website.
