Fall Menu at Miss Shanty

Mark W. Evans of Miss Shanty presenting the coconut curry shrimp dish.

“King Solomon” Evans, former owner of Red Strype, Les Amis, Les Deux Lapins, A Café and Ivo & LuLu in Manhattan, and Bar Bù on South Beach, Miami, has formally premiered his fall menu at his new Caribbean Café, Miss Shanty on The Hamlet Green in Hampton Bays.

Miss Shanty serves traditional island fare, which fuses authentic West Indian and French Caribbean dishes with a nouveau twist, all to the sounds of classic reggae and calypso music which continue to be trademark themes of King Solomon’s hot spots. For fall, try dishes like coconut curry shrimp, brown stewed oxtails, beef patties or sweet plantains.

Since it opened at start of summer, Miss Shanty has been whisking clients away to a tropical paradise. Word on the street has been strictly positive vibes thus far, and the locals have welcomed Miss Shanty to the neighborhood. The new fall menu can be viewed at www.missshanty.com. Miss Shanty Caribbean Café At The Hamlet Green is at 105 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays. For more details call 631-594-3788.
