The Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival returns to Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor November 30 through December 3, celebrating its 10th year of celebrating filmmaking talent and the art of the documentary.

Founded by Jacqui Lofaro, the festival has established itself not only through the four-day festival, which screens shorts, features and student films, but also through its programming at local libraries — giving South Fork residents access to important films and filmmakers year-round. On September 16, HT2FF will screen “Alexander Calder” at the Amagansett Library, followed by a question and answer session with filmmaker Roger Sherman. On September 24, HT2FF will return to the Amagansett Library for a screening of “Portraits of a Lady” with filmmakers Neil Leifer and Walter Bernard on hand to speak with members of the audience.

Official selections for the 2017 festival will be announced later this fall; visit
