Long Island Fresh Hop Festival

September 22

5873 Sound Ave., Riverhead

Join some of Long Island’s finest breweries at L.I. Hops where you’ll taste fresh hop beers alongside the traditional version of the same beer. You’ll also be able to try local pumpkin ales, Oktoberfests and a variety of other styles. Tickets are limited and are being sold on a first come first served basis. Admission is $45 plus taxes and fees when purchased online in advance (price increases to $50 on event day) and includes a souvenir tasting cup and beer sampling. All attendees must be 21 and over and present valid photo ID for entry.

Long Island Garlic Festival

September 15 and 16

Garden of Eve Organic Farm & Market will host Long Island’s only Garlic Festival. The festival will stage many live music acts including Bruce McDonald of Barbeque Bruce and the Brisket Brothers, Eastbound Freight, Free Grass Union and Ken Korb of Red River Ramblers. “How to Grow Garlic” workshop and Junior Garlic Iron Chef Competition are back again along with a new “Stinky Garlic Breath” contest. Admission is $5 per person, children under 6 free.

Westhampton Beach Oyster Festival

Get ready for oysters! You’ll find lots to eat – including a chowder contest.  There’s an interactive pirate show, treasure hunts, and sword-fighting lessons.  You can also jump in the bounce houses, get your face painted, or try pumpkin painting.

Harbor at Gurney’s Montauk Yacht Club

Enjoy fresh, local fish, seafood, burgers and hot dogs with Montauk Brewing Co. beer at the Montauk Seafood Festival. Fun family activities and live music by 3Bs and Liquid Phase will all be held under the big tent on the lawn at Gurney’s. (Cash only event.)

Annual Tyler Valcich Memorial Car Show

The Tyler Valcich Memorial Car Show features cool cars, live music, raffles, food and drink, and benefits the Tyler Project, a non-profit aimed at offering information and services related to suicide awareness and prevention for the youth of the East End.

Finishing out the fall festival season, SouthamptonFest will feature concerts, dance performances, chowder contests, sidewalk sales and more all throughout the village of Southampton. The weekend will start with a kickoff cocktail party on Friday, October 12 at 6:30 p.m. in Agawam Park.
