    Event Overview

    The Watermill Center

In Process @ The Watermill Center invites the community to engage with our Artists-in-Residence on Saturday afternoons through open rehearsals, workshops, studio visits, lectures or artist talks.

Galileo, by Bertolt Brecht, is based on the life of seventeenth century astronomer and physicist Galileo Galilei. In this interpretation by acclaimed Cuban artist and 2018 Inga Maren Otto Fellow, Tania Bruguera, censorship and “fake-news” are the guiding elements in navigating the story. The presentation is followed by a Q&A with the artist.

THAW FEST (The Hamptons Arts Weekend Festival), launches three days of exhibitions, theater performances, film, music, garden tours, workshops, community engagement and family-focused events across member organizations of the Hamptons Arts Network.
