    RFK: An American Folk Hero
    | Rogers Memorial Library | Southampton |

    Event Overview

    Rogers Memorial Library

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Robert Kennedy. Since his assassination in 1968, RFK has become an American folk hero who is venerated politically by both the right and the left. He fought for civil rights and against organized crime as JFK’s attorney general, became a Senator from New York and was a leading candidate for the Democratic nomination to the presidency when he was assassinated. Join historian Martin Levinson, Ph.D. for a discussion of his life and legacy. Register at www.myrml.org or call (631) 283-0774 x 523.
