East End Hospice (EEH) was named a 2018 Hospice Honors Elite organization by Deyta Analytics, a division of HEALTHCAREfirst. Hospice Honors is a prestigious program that recognizes hospices providing the highest level of quality as measured from the caregiver’s point of view. This year, 71 of approximately 1,850 hospices received the Elite award, which puts East End Hospice in the top 2 percent of hospice programs nationally.

“We are very proud of the dedicated staff who strive to meet the highest standards of care by always doing what’s best for patients and caregivers,” Priscilla A. Ruffin, East End Hospice President & CEO said. “While nurses and social workers play a key role in everything we do, it’s truly a collaborative effort between EEH and the community that makes the difference for patients and families.”
“Hospice Honors is a landmark compilation of hospices that provide the best patient and caregiver experiences,” said J. Kevin Porter of HEALTHCAREfirst. “I am extremely proud of East End Hospice for achieving this highest of honors and I congratulate them on their success.”
