Everyone knows the story of Cinderella — an orphaned girl, aided by her fairy godmother, outwits her evil stepmother and wins Prince Charming’s heart.

On Saturday, August 11, at 11 a.m., the Columbia Marionette Theater will perform their version of the beloved tale at Bay Street Theater, located at 1 Bay Street in Sag Harbor — the fourth performance of the Goat on a Boat Puppet Theater summer series.

“Full of humor, warmth and music, this elaborate production runs 40 minutes and features a clever set and detailed marionettes,” according to a press release. “Founded in 1988 by famed puppeteer Allie Scollon and her son John, the Columbia Marionette Theatre (CMT) has established itself as a premiere children’s theatre in South Carolina. Their mission is to entertain and educate children and adults through the long-standing tradition and artistry of puppetry.”

Tickets range from $15 to $25. For more information, call (631) 725-9500 or visit baystreet.org.
