The Hampton Ballet Theater School will present its comic spring ballet, “Cinderella,” on Friday, April 28 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 29 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., and on Sunday, April 30 at 2 p.m.
“Cinderella,” choreographed by HBTS director Sara Jo Strickland, is set to Prokoviev’s poetic score. Costume design is by Yuka Silvera, with lighting design by Sebastian Paczynski. The performance is danced by HBTS members, with guest artists Nicholas Sipes as Prince Charming and Adam Baranello and Gail Baranello of A&G Dance Company as the Father and Evil Stepmother.
The classic Cinderalla story, featuring the fairy godmother, and the antics of stepsisters Prunella and Esmeralda, will feature Rose Kelly in the title role. The production will be staged in Guild Hall’s John Drew Theatre, 158 Main Street in East Hampton. Advanced ticket prices are $25 for adults and $20 for children under 12 years of age for general orchestra seating. Day of performance ticket sales are $25 for children and seniors and $30 for adults for regular orchestra seating. Premium orchestra, box seats, balcony and group rates are also available.
