Fall for Autumn Specials at Baron’s Cove

Baron’s Cove’s new fall menu debuts today — Thursday, October 18 — with executive chef Jay Lippin’s heritage pork shank with braised polenta, Brussels sprouts and natural jus, featuring pork raised at the Sag Harbor resort’s own 62-acre Beach Plum Farm.

The menu also includes lobster pot pie with morel mushrooms, pan-roasted Long Island duck breast with orient point husk cherry gastrique, Chef Jay’s cassoulet, Long Island “cheese pumpkin” aroncini, and more.

In addition, every Thursday, the restaurant offers a $48 three-course prix fixe menu and rotating wine specials that focus on a specific region, from Bordeaux and Burgundies to New York State wines and southern hemisphere sleepers.

Sundays are for sharing with Baron’s Cove’s Sunday Carvery — a different carvery protein every week, such as leg of lamb, standing rib roast, fresh ham, stuffed veal breast, rack of lamb, lacquered Long Island duckling for two and Long Island seafood stew for two.

Later this month, swing by for a scary good Haunted Halloween Happy Hour all night long. Spooky jazzy cocktails will include a Black Cosmo with Blackberry Liqueur and a Cobweb Garnish, Poison Apple Pie — rum, cream, cinnamon syrup, egg white and sparkling apple juice — and Zombie Apocalypse, a concoction of Absolut Elyx, Malibu, passion fruit puree, grapefruit juice and Pernod.

Jazz continues every Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. with some East End favorites — Unsung Heroes, Hot Club of Montauk, Ludmilla and Marcello, and others. Baron’s Cove is located at 31 West Water Street in Sag Harbor. For more information, call (631) 725-2101 or visit
