East Hampton residents, Ellen Johansen and Marlene Markard, have teamed up to create Two Hamptons Pianists, providing live piano music for all Hamptons occasions.

Ms. Johansen and Ms. Markard are experienced, conservatory-trained pianists who specialize in providing live background music at exclusive parties on the East End. With an extensive repertoire that spans many musical styles, including classical, standards, popular, and more, Ms. Johansen and Ms. Markard pair each event with the ideal music, setting just the right mood for every celebration.

Ms. Johansen and Ms. Markard are both Juilliard-trained pianists who have studied with world-renowned teachers, including Kathrine Parker, Blanche Abram, Solomon Mikowsky, and Arkady Aronov. Ms. Johansen has enjoyed a 40-year career in music, performing at hundreds of venues in New York and throughout Long Island. She is an active accompanist who provides musical accompaniment for some of the most prominent organizations in the Hamptons. Ms. Markard holds a B.A. in English Literature and Music from Barnard College and has participated in master classes with Yo Yo Ma and Yevgeny Kissin. Following a successful 16-year corporate career, Ms. Markard returned to music in 2014 and has been actively performing throughout Long Island.

Bond No. 9 has created three new Dubai scents set to debut this May. Dubai Encore: Dubai Citrine, Dubai Amber, and Dubai Amethyst continue the company’s sensory exploration of the Gulf State emirate that itself has become a fantasy realm of excess.
