Ram’s Head Inn Joins the Heated Igloo Craze

To keep hotel and restaurant guests cozy and warm as the fall and winter seasons roll in, the Ram’s Head Inn on Shelter Island has added five heated outdoor dining igloos to their expansive lawn for cocktails & dining.

Outfitted with baskets of blankets, heaters and twinkle lights, guests can relax and enjoy beachside views of Coecles Harbor while enjoying the Inn’s new menus and drink lists for the fall and winter.

There is no added fee to reserve an igloo. All igloos can accommodate a minimum of four adult guests with a maximum capacity of eight, and may be reserved for up to two hours. Children are welcome, but do not count toward the minimum of four guests needed to reserve.

Walk-in parties of any size and up to eight guests may enjoy any igloo not reserved for food or drinks.

The Inn uses an electrostatic sanitizing sprayer in between usages to ensure the experience is safe for all.
