For the past 25 years, Ms. Rosenblat has been residing in Hamburg, running a decorated workshop and showroom, designed by Star-architect Michael Gabellini and with furniture by George Nakashima, where she creates pieces of timeless beauty. Her work respects the nature of each gem, and embeds them in individually conceived forms.

“It is not we who select the jewelry, but the jewelry that selects us,” Ms. Rosenblat says. “If a stone likes us, it will appeal to us and select us as its companion. Then it is not we who wear it, but the stone, that adorns itself with us.”

“I am very excited to bring my signature collections, including my Scarab Rings, Hammered Gold Armbands, Middle Ages Rings and Pendants, and more, to my wonderful clients who reside full-time and seasonally in the East End.” says Ms. Rosenblat. “The spirit of nature comes alive in my work.”

Waldmann Inc Estate Jewelry is located at 25 Main Street in Southampton. For more information, visit waldmanninc.com.

Figue will Pop-Up at Mecox in East Hampton

Mecox East Hampton, 66 Newtown Lane, will host Figue and Voutsa as a pop-up retailers in its store August 19 through Labor Day, September 5, with opening cocktail reception on Friday, August 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Figue is a women’s luxury lifestyle collection launched in 2012 by Stephanie von Watzdorf. Named for the ancient fruit, Figue (pronounced “fig”) was born out of Ms. Watzdorf’s passion for travel and desire to share the talents of artisans around the world. The collection of ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes and jewelry has a global gypsy-meets-jet-set spirit, combining unique prints with layered textures, embroideries and hand-beading. Products will range from lanterns, to caftans, scarves, bags and various accessories.

Originally specializing in hand-painted wallpaper, George Venson, Voutsa’s founder and head designer, began developing patterns for printed wallpaper in order to fuse his interest in painting, commerce, and product design. After a successful debut wallpaper collection, he teamed up with Paul Marlow Studio, a made-to-measure atelier, to develop an ongoing line of vibrantly patterned ready-to-wear. Maintaining a repertoire of silk robes and kimonos, caftans and tunics, scarves, bandannas, and swimwear, Mr. Venson and Mr. Marlow have worked diligently to capture a refined yet casual manifestation of wearable wallpaper under the brand identity Voutsa x Paul Marlow. Products will range from tunics, scarves, caftans, pillows, totes, trays, lamp shades, special edition pouf’s and men’s swim trunks.
