Mandala Expands in Amagansett
In April, Mandala Yoga — a part of Amagansett Square for more than 15 years — moved from a one room studio space into its Yoga and Healing Arts Center, which will offer an expanded yoga schedule, year-round teacher training, advanced and alternative studies including Ayurveda and aromatherapy, two healing arts rooms, a retail shop and a wellness apothecary room.
Mandala Yoga Center for Healing Arts will also be a space for the community at large, offering a fantastical array of kids parties as well as a full schedule of kids and family programming, a large retail space offering beautiful and carefully edited items for the home, for yourself, and for gift giving from collections found around the globe. The apothecary will be expertly stocked with ayurvedic remedies, essential oils such as the much sought after Thieves oil, and host a calendar full of opportunities to make your own wellness and beauty lotions and potions to take home.

Bay Kitchen Bar is Open
Bay Kitchen Bar, on Gann Road in East Hampton, is open for the season, complete with a nautically-inspired redesign and a local, sea-to-table menu by Chef Eric Miller.

The menu is complimented by cocktails created by beverage director Adam Miller including the Mexican Firing Squad, a tangy combination of tequila, Mezcal, grenadine, lime juice and habanero tincture; a Watermelon Caipirinha and a Horchata Colada served in a rose gold pineapple punch bowl with vodka, rum, horchata, pineapple juice, vanilla and lime juice.
Famous for its breathtaking sunset views, Bay Kitchen Bar also offers two nightly happy hours pairing fresh oysters ($2) and crisp rose by the glass ($6) Monday through Friday, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to close.
